Our Process.

Project Brief & Initial Contact

We ask you to complete our online project brief form and tell us about what you would like to achieve.

We then review your online project brief and if we feel we are a good fit for you, we will move to an initial in home meeting to finalise the brief and create a proposal.

We holistically review your home. If required we meet with any relevant trades to discuss structural and practical considerations. Now we are ready to edit the scope of works and develop the brief fully for your project.

Your design comes to life as we plan the details of each space. We consider the floor plan, kitchen and bathroom design, joinery detail, colour, fixtures and fittings, flooring, window treatments, furniture, rugs, artwork and more.

Schematic floor plans and elevations are drawn, and we put together realistic 3D mock up renders of key areas. Samples are collated and a presentation is prepared before we meet to seek your design approval.

Floor plans and elevations are finalised and detailed schedules for paint, finishes, fixtures and fittings are completed to share with your appointed builder.

We finalise the pricing on all confirmed choices and provide a budget estimate for any additional allowances required.

We can assist you in selecting the right builder by sending your floor plans, elevations and schedules to each one so they can quote for your project.

We are available for any questions from your trades and to attend additional site meetings where required. We work with you to review quotes, helping you engage a builder that suits your requirements.

We order any required fixtures, fittings, furniture etc through our trade contacts. Delivery fees and time frames, as well as deposit conditions, are confirmed at this stage.

Building begins with your builder as the project manager. As your design consultants, we liaise with you and your trades on variations, questions, and design details.

Six Pieces will ensure all furniture and homewares are curated to specification. Our styling services will create a space tailored to the original concept brief.
