This contemporary coastal beach house started life as an 1960’s blonde brick home. The families brief was to design a renovation that would provide space for their growing family, but reflect the architectural history of the suburb. It was most important to them that a traditional coastal bush garden was part of the design.
The finished product was a home that shines with organic, eco-friendly values, designed around nature to encapsulate every ounce of Northern Sunshine. This was achieved by architectural features such as a butterfly roof, highlight windows, sweeping ceilings and external use of WA limestone and Vertical cedar boards.
